Mixmeister Users Anyone whose used this what is the best to beat match on it? You can select beat matching and it has the function to snap to beat/measures etc but i can never seem to get it to fully match this way. If i turn snap to beat off I can match the beats but they go out of sync after a while... How long should the beat matching section be? (time period) What am I missing cos supposedly you can create seamless mixes with it???
Re: Re: Mixmeister Users I do like that but to use it properly u gotta assign all ya keys aint ya?! Also the idea is obviously to put the mix on cd so in Tractor dont u have to record the mix? Doesnt that mean you have to get it spot on all the way through? What if ya fuck up? Start again?
Re: Re: Re: Mixmeister Users # Yeah you record in real time on traktor so it does have to perfect, just learn how to use it
Re: Re: Re: Mixmeister Users You can do that or buy a controller. I used to just use a mouse till i got my controller, worked spot on
Yep, like a dream. There's an update on hercules website that you download and it syncs it all for you.. although i only found that out after i'd sat and done it myself manually, pulling my hair out in the process
Re: Mixmeister Users Make the bar measurer (no idea what the fuck this is called) an equal size then zoom in and turn off snap to beat. Try and line two beats up somewhere in the middle region and if it sounds a bit off move one of the beats along and try another one. Use trebble/volume control e.t.c to tidy it up if needed.
aye thats kinda the technique i use. its just sometimes they dont stay in sync very long at all so u end up doing a quick transition which sounds shite! Some tracks just dont seem to beat match at all despite picking tracks with similar BPM.... I'll stick at it..........
Assigning keys is pretty easy in traktor.. If I can do it you can.. I only ever use a pitch bend.. and a few killing features..
