Gielen def played Sunshine - think it was his 1st tune.

Someone described Mistress Barbara as Fergie with tits which is a perfect description. Probably couldn't play at a proper techno night but good that she's introducing people to that type of music who would not normally here it

Agreed, she's a top DJ. I like the way she builds her sets aswell, she seems to drop her sets right down before played someting really strong if u know what I mean?

I thought most of the stuff she was playing was pretty bosh-style techno. She's nowhere near the standard of the underground techno jocks but quite good for playing at a club like Promise to add a bit of variation

Even though he plays a lot of techno and probably wants to be classed as a techno DJ,he'll never be accepted by the techno purists

He plays alongside and is respected by some of the biggest techno DJ's in the world (Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Marco Bailey, etc.. etc..). I'd say their opinion is just a bit more valid than the elusive "techno purists" we hear so much about.

I never said that was my opinion. Most of the nights he plays at are his own though. I think he's ok,you're obviously a very big fan
