Mirko Cro Cop to UFC I don't watch a lot of Pride FC but I've seen some of his fights and he looks awesome. Everyone seems to think he'll knock Chuck out with ease.. I'll need to see this to believe it but I can't wait for February
Re: Re: Mirko Cro Cop to UFC Nope.. I'm sure Crocop is a heavyweight anyways. Rampage Johnson will be the one who will eventually fight Chuck.. and he has beaten chuck before. He is a damn good fighter.. inly seen a few highlights of him but he looks like an exciting prospect for UFC..
Re: Re: Re: Mirko Cro Cop to UFC I can't believe you are actually really into watching people hit each other.
There's speculation that Cro Cop will drop down to fight Chuck since there's no real contender to beat him in the UFC. Fair enough rampage has made the move to UFC too but it was years ago when he fought Chuck who just wasn't the fighter he is now imo.. I think Rampage is a bit one dimensional but he's known to have a magically tough chin.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Mirko Cro Cop to UFC It's better than watching footballers not hit each other and make an even bigger fuss about it Anyway, MMA isn't just about hitting each other it's extrememly technical strategy based fighting.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Mirko Cro Cop to UFC It's always good to state these things for the like of Alexander anyway
Haha. UFC looks to be heading in the right direction. Randy Couture is back from retirement to fight Tim Silvia for the HW belt in UFC 68.
I thought it was a bit unfair as he wouldn't have had that shot lined up if it wasn't for the stoppage which was his fault. Was a cracking shot though
You seen the early UFC's? They're some of the best fights I've ever seen just because of everyone's lack of knowledge on ways to fight. Everyone coming into the octagon thought their way was the way until someone like gracie and shamrock appeared. When Victor Belfort arrived everyone was stunned with his hand speed. Even Tank Abbot got chinned within minutes and he knew it
Not a fan of the time limt rules back then. Fair enough a real fight doesn't have time limits or rounds but it's about as exciting as watching a flea die when both fighters are so tired or so determined to keep their position out of fatigue that you get a 25 minute show of 2 half naked men lying on top of each other, ie. Shamrock vs Gracie. It's much better when tired fighters have the chance to take a minute out to refresh themselves. Tank abbot is a prime example. He came out swinging and looked like he was gonna give the show of the night until 5 minutes had passed but in all fairness he wasn't an athlete at all he just hoped he'd land a lucky right asap.
I watched 5 and 6 recently and I'm in the process of getting the early ones.Got 25-30 in the last week but need to encode them for dvd.
