    minidisc players for cars?

    anyone know of any decent minidisc palyers u can buy for cars & also speakers for cars as well.....
    tis my birthday next mth & need ideas for a pressie of my rents...was going to go for cash but i cud do with a better sound system in my car.....specially since i'm going to b driving long distances soon! :D

    just get a CD player Ruth, don't really see the point of in car MD myself.

    Laz has a in-car MP3 player that plays from CDs. only like £100 or something. bargain.

    i want an md player cos i don't want to have loads of cd's in my car...md's will cut down on that.... :D

    Aye, Goodmans aint the best but it does me. I now have the option of listening to hours of music from 1 CD. Unfortunately I work from home so never get to listen to it that much. DOH!

    True, you can compress your tunes with the software supplied with MDs but it's not as convenient as burning MP3s straight to a CD (unless you haven't got a CD writer)

    I think you may have to get it fitted for you (well I did), it's a nice player (does not do long play though).

    I'll see if I can find the same model on ebay to get an idea of value...

    74 mins stereo but I tended to use 148 mins mono in my car.

    i'm useless when it comes to technology & have no idea how to do mp3 or condence cd's down.... if i had an md player in my car, i cud record what i want from my cd's onto md & then play it in my car...

    the old stereo will have to stay as it's built in but will probs get sum1 to fit what i get! :D

    When youre doing a cd you change it into mp3s. Should be easy to figure out if you check out the help thing on whatever programme you use :D

    i was going to b doing it thru my cd player & if it's in mp3 form i'll have to do it thru the pc...my dad's pc is buggered atm...he took it to get fixed last week & got told it had 87 viruses on it!!! :lol:

    get an mp3 player in the car
    i can get up to 10 2 hour mixes on one mp3 cd
