Mighty boosh... Everyone loves the boosh, so whats your favourite quotes, some are absolute classics like! Rich:"...anyway, you've won employee of the month, here, have this toothpaste..." Noel:"Oh! [laughs] Thanks!" Rich:"I didn't like it anyway..." Noel:"Oh well thanks!" Rich:"By the way, have you seen my wife?" Noel:"[Really laughs] No...no I haven't..." Rich:"Well look at this...[brings out his finger from behind his back]...hey" Noel:"Awwwwww, wow!" Rich:"She's beautiful ain't she?" Noel:"Yeah, she's great!" [talks to Rich's wife or *his finger* and starts kissing her/it] Rich:"What! What! What, what, what are you doing? [takes back his wife] GIVE ME MY TOOTHPAST BACK! *to his finger* You whore!" "I feel like Patrick Duffy swimming in a liquid bunion." "Comin atcha like a beam, like a ray, like a rooster, like a goose trapped in the rafters of a barn in Shropshire"
dunno if im missing the point with this show but i dont find it funny at all. tryed watchin it a few times aswell!
through the week when your sober and sensible its canny gash best for a wkend when uve had very little sleep, hungover and feeling childish its funny as fuck
A lot of my m8's think it's the funniest thing on TV but I just can't get into it. I could watch it and see the humour, but it wouldn't be hard to keep a straight face throughout the whole thing. A lot of it is trying to be too random that it misses the point where it's funny. Green Wing on the other hand is hilarious Anyone know if there's gonna be any new ones?
bad crack like...... if anyone watched the documentary about the boosh on bbc3 last week the amount of top comedians from all over giving the show praise was unbelievable, the double act and chemistry between noel and julian is different class, very hard to find in comedy these days, they play off each brilliantly,if you actually understood the comedy its intelligent as anything currently on tv..
If you actually understood comedy?! How fucking pretentious are you? The Mighty Boosh is fucking shit, and that comes from someone who both loves indie, and lives in Shoreditch.
I really really like it, but it's in no way my favourite comedy ever or anything. It's at it's best when Noel and Julian are bouncing off each other in that quick-fire, brilliant way they do. Some of the dialogue and interplay between them is awesome. I just feel sometimes it lags badly in some of the surreal tangents. Being surreal for surrealisms sake wares a bit thin sometimes.
