Michael Bridges Just been given a free transfer by Sunderland, such a shame the numerous injuries he has suffered have basically ruined his career, he had so much ability as a young lad and was a huge success at Leeds in his first season but alas now i cant see him playing at a level higher than Hartlepool or Darlington.
Yeah its a shame cos of the injuries. But its also a shame that a lot of our fans thought the sun shone out of his arse still. The fact was he was finished real shame though cos without the injuries the lad had a bright career ahead of him.
He should of quit when he left Newcastle, id rather retire a failure at my home town club than have the nightmare of going to Sunderland and failing there
The problem is though he cannot do that, it does not matter what club he goes to his body is not capible of letting the lad play games for a consecutive amount of time, while at us he would play one game then after the match he had tweaked this or pulled that which would put him out of contention for the next game. He also did nothing with the chances that he did get and let Chris Brown take over him in the pecking order.
Serves the stupid Black and White **** right, he would have played for England if he stayed with SAFC in the beginning. He can rot in football hell !!
