    Messenger Service Pop Ups

I keep getting these advertising all sorts of things, only started on my new laptop which had XP. Ive got pop ups switched off in IE but these seem to always appear.

How do I stop them? Help me please!

These arent normal pop ups and I dont have Kazaa. They are like small window things with information on them and an "OK" button, they dont open in IE. I cant find any way to stop them.

in which case it's the other one. In Services - find 'messenger service' and stop it. THEN patch yer PC - sounds like it's be exploited by hackers.
