    Media turn on Newcastle UTD

Everywhere I look the media are rinsing NUFC

Even The Guardian ran a feature "Ten Reasons it would be funny if NUFC went down" ????

Why does everyone seem to be buzzing with the collapse of this club?

Is it the arrogant supporters or simply the fact its a big club?

It seems deeper than that somehow, If any other Club had went down it wouldn't have been like this?

Brillaint fact on the radio during a rinsing session today, "There are THREE football clubs playing their football in THE CONFERENCE that where in the top division the last time Newcastle won anything"

Back to the OP, it hs been mentioned how the fans go on about Shearer and Keegan and "messiah" etc... the fact these supporters have NOTHING to celebrate or hang their hats on so they create heros out of players that have done well for them..as they ahve no trophys.... and they end up treating these "great players" as heros and giving them the club in a vain hope they will become GREAT MANAGERS. This could be adding to their woes... makes a lot of sense to me
