me decks are fucked

    me decks are fucked

    my technics have started to only come through the left channel of my mixer, does anyone know the best place for me to get them serviced or if there is anyone out there that can do it i am willing to pay to have my babies fixed

    put the decks into different channels - eliminate that it's the mixer thats chuffed... swap them over. Might just be the phonos that need replacing. Cut them off and fit some yourself!

    defo not the mixer tried on loadsa others. had problems before with me decks and fixed them myself. this time i want someone who is in the know to havee a pop:D

    sounds like its just your phono connections dunno how much it would cost but i'd get them done properly like

    I'll have a look if you want - don't think there's anywhere intown that services them - might be though.

    Had to put new cables on mine a couple of years back - piece of piss

    You needin them for thursday?

    that happened to my old decks... one of the wires in the arm had broken an needed to be replaced... the guy did it for nothig but the initial service cost about £30! (i think... it was a few years ago!)

    sure its the rca cables? try the cartridges before you start cutting! might just be a bad connection on the 4 small cables that join the head to the cart ;)
