MD to WAV and back to MD Whats the best program to use? And how do I make sure my levels are all correct, apart from trial and error, which I cant be arsed with and whats the best way to go about it? MD to line-in, then record whats comin in the Line-in?
u trying to replicate a MD? its probably best to borrow somebodys MD and just copy it using that. or u could use wavelab, or cooledit to record it into Wav, then burn a CD?
thanks dude, thing is I ve got net md, so I can transfer mp3s or wavs very quick from my pc to md, about 5 mins for a 80 min set. And my cd writer is buggered I ll give wavelab a go though thanks oh have sent james n laura an md, its very bass heavy, because i did what the title of the thread is, and for some reason after 35 mins every so often, it skips, which it doesnt on my original md, but have a listen, and see what u think
Line in really damages the sound quality. If you dont have digital sound in's on your machine you really should get some. Without these you would have to go from MD>CD then just rip the CD as norm. A fuck on but quality will be retained.
