    MCing..

    Good or Bad?

    In the world of DnB i d say most that we hear are absolutely amazing... Skibadee, Det, Shabba D etc... Add so much more to an already outstanding sound IMO...

    if theres one thing i d love to do, it would be to beable to mc... not the shitty garage mcs, they re shit, but the speed and lyrics of a DnB mc:D:D

    hmm. dunno. generally speaking i was always of the opinion that mc's were not a good thing.

    however they can be very good if done properly. i think im just picky though. at times i hear things and think, the mc'ing add's nothing to that - and with others it seemingly makes the tune.

    undecided.

    What are you talking about you'll find many d n b MC are also garage MC's and vice versa.... Newcastle has some well good MC's to hear them go through to turbulance at the uni :D

    Being a big hip hop fan I love a good MC and I'm even partial to MC's over hardcore (listen to MC Wotsee to hear it done well), anything done well enhances a night and a good MC who knows when to shut up can add to the atmosphere and really enhance a night.

    MC's = :king: 's

    If done properly MC'ing can realy add to the atmosphere of the night!! Newcastle is very lucky we've got a wicked DnB scence with a lot of good DJ's and MC's.

    Aslong as they dont crash vocals and know when to let the dj do there thing they are wicked.

    i think that if done proply it sounds good (i used to be one)
    even hardcore mc's can be good i dont mean the mc spanish rave shite like the ones from the after dark and newmonkey i mean the ones from judgement day, rezerection

    ive even got sets with tiesto and yoji biomehanika with mc's on
    dance valley always have mc's on

    but the all time :king: of mc's has to be a toss up between D&B and a free style rapper
    i think D & B mc's are the best though but a few people i know dissagree with me

    I absolutely hate MCing. IMO it ruins any kind of dance music. It make D&B seem so dirty, it's just too raw.

    Obviously hip hop MCing is a different matter, I can't get enough of it!:D
