Yep. Watching it on BBC news 24.

Just been announced on the FA web site. Press conference just about to start.

It's pretty unreal how he's got the job. Just a few months ago it was almost certain he would be sacked by Boro, and now he's England manager. Nothing will change with concerns of the team, JJ, Hargreaves and the likes will all still get in even though we have much better players. I understand he's a brilliant coach, but I'd of rather had Big Sam or someone like him, come in, with fresh ideas, and who's not scared to change things. I think this is going to be a bad decision, I hope I'm wrong

I'm warming to him got to say. He is proven in getting results in cup competitions which ultimately is what managing england is. Plus he has proven that he can turn matches around when he is losing

Dont think Sam could do better, dont think he could handle the media attention

he's good in cups, has loads of top level coaching experience and his methods are innovative and successful.

his main problem is his tactical decision making but he has shown he can make good decisions in recent months. plus he should have a higher caliber of player with england. he also didnt endear himself to the boro fans much but that too changed recently.

best of luck to him and i hope he can leave boro as a hero, with the uefa cup.
