Plan B and Tinie Tempah need no introduction. The two biggest crossover

more to ensure the Baltic crowd are kept dancing their socks off

Evolution would not be complete without a taste of the future...

Will Brother be the biggest band in the world?
Why are Bravestation being flown in especially from Canada?
    Who exactly is the CocknBullKid?
    What is Django Django?
Are Not Squares really not square?

If past years at Evolution bear any testament these artist will
be the next generation of superstars...

Away from the throng in the Big Top on Ballast Hills amongst the holistic
healing and the hand pumped ales, Billy Bragg & Bellowhead head up
a veritable smorgasbord of left of centre loveliness

Yet again, Evolution brings the most prolific and diverse musical talent
to the North east under one sky and cements its burgeoning reputation as a
key date in the international festival calendar

    This line up is ultra-shit.

Is it just me or is it getting worse every year?

id happily pay £25 for iggy and the stooges, the kills, hercules and love affair, billy bragg & jamie woon..think its a pretty good lineup, some decent stuff on the saturday, dance stuff and pop stuff for the kids on the sunday..£35 is good value for both days imo

They are. Thinking about it the only reason I can see what is appealing about them is the atmosphere due to the crowds - not my cup of tea
