Massive shame, 2 of the worst cases I've seen it happen would have to be with Umek & Valentino, used to love the older techno groove they were renowned for & the rawness in their sets with all the tricks they used to pack in.
Tbh that's the reason i stopped enjoying clubbing in the last couple of years, as hard as i've tried i can't get away with the sound about at the minute and unfortunately it's infected every style of dance music, you can go see a trance dj one night, then a house dj the next and hear the same tracks.
This set is fucking quality, i remember seeing Picotto for 4 hrs at Promise and then 6 hrs at Crasher just a few weeks later at around this time, and he was fucking pounding both nights. The MC is annoying at times though, "focus, just focus" during the breakdown of the Fuct Camera being one of his random shout outs what a tit. Id forgotten how banging 'Bangkok' was, 'Verdi' as well - he used to destroy many a nightclub with that a few years back. I dont mind what Picotto plays these days if im honest though its a far cry from what he was like back in the day...
i wish i wasnt only 13 when he was playing sets like this like , this is quality - last time i seen him has at gatecrasher summer sound system a couple of years ago and he bored the life out of me like!
Picotto and Fergie were awesome back in 2002 when they played the judgement sunday nights at tall trees, poundin!!!!
