    Why do trance djs playing house just play stuff by Leger/Prydz/Ingrosso etc etc

    probably because it's harder edged and they can build into playing trance easier, either way i agree it's pretty grim.

    Grim my arse! music has to evolve 2 keep it interestin and fresh. Nowt wrong with mixing genres if its done properly! Marco V and PVD have been doing it 4 ages. Nuff said!

    Totally agree mate i play trance myself and won't touch any prydz or ingrosso stuff. I also think its is the wrong style to play to warmup for trance, i am really into deadmau5 at the moment because i feel its perfect to play at the start of a trance set as much of there music has a trancey feel to it but is not trance.
    Ingrosso and Prydz stuff is probably more ideal for warming up for a proper dirty set not so much trance.
    Thats my opinion anyway. And i prefer to play floaty trance so..
