Mark Rae was class at lovebox on sat night...looks like jamboooooooooo in a few yrs time.... am now on the look out for some of his stuff!
excuse my ingonrance (well actually don't excuse it, just help me to be not so ignorant!) but what sort of websites would i find this sort of label??!!!
I love rae and christian - they sometimes play out with a full live band - worth checking if you can try here http://grandcentralrecords.co.uk/ I would recommend getting central heating vol 1 - early compilation with some very cool summery tunes on it. and i've just noticed they've reissued it on the above site for a fiver - bargain
thanks for the info peeps, altho i can't find it on that site for £5, u must just have better looking skills than me!
go to http://shop.grandcentralrecords.com/Store/ then albums and all the grand central albums are there - the one called central heating should be a fiver.
rae + christian bit cringeworthy at times but the majority of their stuff is good.. prefer aim really though... his album rae road was ok.. sleepwalking was good... nothin spectacular tho.. nice and easy did u see aim ruth?
was the event busy as a whole? wouldnt expect him to pull that bigger crowd especially with carter on at the same time... ne munters?
it seemed to b at tmies but then occasionly it seemed quite quiet...very odd! jon carter was canny busy....what made me laff tho was the gurning tri-hards that were there for the shindig dj's who were trying to dance to hiphop, still complete with mullets & wine spritzers (pinky out an all)
