    Marco V -Cafe Del Mar

I thought id have a nice balanced arguement on here.

Am I the only one who thinks marco v has spoilt one of Trances all time great songs?

I mean Energy 52'del mar goes down with the likes of

    BT - Flaming June
    Gouryella - Gouryella
    Binary Finary 98/99

etc etc as the true great mid 90's trance tunes so shouldnt they be left alone?

    You thoughts please.

it is an all time classic trance tune....

but i think his rmx has really brought it up to date with whats goin on in terms of hard trance...and it sounds great in a club...

it sounds mint @ SS north on their mint sound system!!!!!!

    .

I think the earlier trance such as energy 52 etc had a much more purer sound. were as hard trance has a much more dark and banging tune to it in general.

Hard Trance may be great, but what can i say, im a child of mid 90's balearic trance!

Nalin and Kane, Used to love beachball!, when was it out 97? or even 96 dare i say? The decent version with only very few vocals on it, not the stupid charva version made in the late 90's.

Why do charva's (kappa wearin people for non-northeast minded people) insist on ruinin great songs.

The best example of this is Fragma and Toca Me, a great tune, then they had to sell out and bring out that terrible tocas miracle. Thats the minute Fragma lost my respect.

nah i reckon Marco V has done it sooooooooo fuckin well, he hasnt changed the synths really cos it would spoil the originality of Eenrgy 52, but what he has done is done what he was asked to do.........remix it in his style........and for those of u who like his style, this is perfect.........its gonna be BIG!!

ok its a good tune, but... why?! there is no way is this as good as the three n one mix... you could drop the three n one mix in almost any set, and the place would go off like youve never seen... ppl cryin to cafe del marco? imagine what itd be like to three n one mix... its timeless, it doesnt need doin - just drop the three n one mix instead :p :D
