manchester or leeds?? ive been clubbing to manchester couple times now to essential club and have really enjoyed it but have heard leeds dance club scene meant to be better, anyone advise?
Hmm not too sure if you will find much of it in Leeds. Tidy wednesdays used to run at Stinkeys peehouse (now called MY house) Dont think it runs anymore tho.. You get the odd trance night at gatecrasher and occasional goodgreef events. Superconductor is a techno night running at the northern light.......with the likes of surgeon playing.
Yeah there are hardly any hard dance nights in Leeds, Incsision was going to start back up but I dont think the lad is going ahead with it now. All I know is there are some techno nights in Leeds and some hardcore nights in Bradford that are hard these days
Is it following Newcastle down the Hed-Kandi/Up-your-own-arse/too-cool-for-school/let's-all-dress-like-queer-hairdressers route?
Seems like it to me. Misson has abandoned it's trance and HH nights in favour of what I call "mincing house" :fart: , and Glasshouse has gone funky now too. Housewives Choice seems to have disappeared at the moment too now.
