Liverpool the team who couldn't beat Hull at home?

Yes they have had a good start and Hull have been class but you have to beat them at home, Chelsea beat them away Man Utd have beat them at home.

It's gonna be a 3 horse race until the Champions league knock outs start then Liverpool will falter as they don't have the squad to compete. Most of their fans will take that as its a massive improvement as they are normally out the race this year.

Chelsea will win the league but them and Man Utd will be comfortable come the last month of the season form Liverpool who will fall back and comfortably finish 3rd.

It's not a game in hand. It's just the fact they drew the same as Liverpool.

If they win their game in hand they go 3 points behind.

    3 points is fuck all.

i think the premier league suits liverpool down to the groud at the minute. all the top 5 teams are beating eachother, and dropping points at round about the same time - its this lack of consistency that hascost liverpool titles in the past, and from what i have seen they are not better than what they have been in previous years its just a case that the league is alot more open. i dont think it will stay this way, i think ManU and Chelsea will findform and start to pull away at the top come the new year!

I don't think Liverpool will win it, it'll be ether man u or chelsea, strengh in depth is the key when the demanding fixtures take over.

it sounds like ya saying that Liverpool wont win the league based solely on the result against Hull?

At the minute Liverpool's one of only 2 teams that have not lost at home this year, the other one being Man U, but Liverpool have won twice as many games away from home than Man U have so really basing your prediction on one bad game they had against Hull, and the fact that Man U and Chelsea have both beaten them this season, really makes no logical sense whatsoeva.

I do agree however that they will struggle to keep a hold on the lead as we get further into the new year, but it seemed that u based it on that one game lol

He's right though. If Liverpool manage to level against Hull with still about an hour left to play and they cant finish them off at Anfield then they will not be lifting that trophy.

And its not based on one result, its based on about 4 now, all home games.

Chelsea have fucked up alot at home aswell against the likes of westham and newcastle both of which arent playing anywhere near as well as hull, are you ruling then out of the title race aswell?

No but im pretty confident that when it comes to crunch, Chelsea will deliver the right results, same applies for Man Utd.

Liverpool with only Gerrard firing and an unfit Torres however?

Liverpool made up a shit load of ground in the back end of last season and usually finish strong.I dont think they'll win it personally but its definitely a 3 horse race this year and should be an exciting finish

Or i think theyl make a good go of it, theyv already bettered themselves.

But i personally think for a team who havnt won it in god knows how long their just chucking to many points away. At the end of the season these are the results that will inevitibly be looked upon.

I keep saying it as its obvious, but God they need Gerrard.

They need torres fit or they need keane to pull his finger out, either one would be a massive bonus

He's a broken down figure like Keane.

Benitez never even used him against Hull, which i think is shameful.
