Man City Taken from another forum "I'm sorry to say this, as a life long fan and - for the last few (for me at least) unforgettable months - employee, MCFC as we know it is finished. Here are the FACTS, for those who really want to know. Thaksin is, as of midlnight 10th August, 2008, an international fugitive. He now has to be found guilty of corruption in Thailand in his absense, offering no defence. Extradition requests will surely follow. The PL will then have to find him short of the fit and proper ownership rules (and believe me, the pressure for that from fellow 'members' has been growing since June). Thaksin is trying to palm off City onto whoever will now take it, an insolvent mess of a business, completely incapable of sustaining itself. The truth is that the only interested party (until recently) - Wardle - is not now able to bail City out now , he cant come close on his own and no partners have been found. The wage bioll and committments due on the last 2 years' transfers have spiralled out of control. The Corluka affair is the last straw - I personally worked on the deal and can assure anyone interested that he has already been transferred to Spurs. Spurs have this evening started legal action, and he will be barred from playing for City following an injunction in the courts tomorrow. Personally I expect Hughes to then resign on principal (he has no choice now, he is on record as saying that he wilol have final say on all transfers). Many wont believe any of this, but a few will. I am very close to this situation (readers will never know who I am or how close - a few would know my name but it isnt appropriate to for me to come 'out') - trust me, I am close enough to know what has happeneded in the last fortnight, I am *ed off with it (as a fan, and as someone who has worked hard for the club durinig the ast 18 months or so) and it must be said, a little drunk. I am posting this message on a few sites - apologies for those that keep reading it, but I want City fans to know what is happening. The sad truth is we are finished, and that as a result, the PL will be facing its biggest challenge since inception within 2 weeks of now." I really hope this is true tbh, cannot fucking stand that clueless thai cunt and dont really like the club. Theyve got shit fans for a supposedly big club who couldnt even fill the ground smaller than ours when they were 2nd in the early part of last season, to the point that Thaksin was holding raffles giving away cars at games trying to boost the gates... oh dear In for Ronaldinho this summer?? How fucking stupid will that PR stunt look if all the above kicks off over the next few weeks...
I prefer them them to the cunts that play in Red in Manchester but surely people must of thought there was a rabbit off a long time ago man? There isnt a day goes by when he twat is skipping court has an injuction or warrant on his head or something else along the lines. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next few days or weeks or whatever cos it could go seriously tits up, and fucking unlucky if it does.
What about the hughes situation as well, leaving Blackburn which he had built up into a decent side and brought in quality players to then leave for city to which he prob thought would be bigger and better move at the time. How wrong could he be if everything falls down as it looks like it will.
Aye a know, the rumours are flying all owa at the moment about what he's gonna do and about quitting etc. We look like a steady club at the minute, actually.....
Yeah the money is one thing but like i say he built up a good side which he left for this. Hughes is hardly skint and it was a career move also. He left for the improved pay packet and the promise that the funds were available to turn city into a top 5 club so as things stand at the moment with all the transfer issues and twat shin stuff he's got egg on his face at the min. On a lighter note readin all the city stuff makes me feel a bit better abut the Newcastle situation and our problems at the top.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha On a more serious note it just shows the dangers of foreign investors, imagine if Abramovich got bored with the lack of success and pulled the plug on Chelsea Highly unlikely though.
New takeover, luckys bastards! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/manchester_city/article4652337.ece
berba to man city? its been sheer madness today? bid accepted from city, he's supposedly having a meeting with sir alex and now real are putting a 36mil bid in?!?!
That puts Man U right up shit creek if Madrid are sticking there orr in. Man U will be fucked coz Ajax have said they won't sell Hunt ether.
i think madrid are out to get man utd after the ronaldo saga lol. i think berba is a good player but 36mil is far far to much!!! is that huntlaar any good? people were raving about him but he didn't get a look in at the euros
It's fkn madness whats happened with Man City today. First of all they have new owners and that and now there hoying bids in left right n centre for all sorts of players like Berbatov / David Villa !! Berbatov is holding talks with Ferguson as wel speak and i cant see them letting him leave there grasp yet but it said they havent put a bid in as of yet tho.
Man City currently have bids in for : Robinho Dimitar Berbatov David Silva Mario Gomez Cheap? Fkn jesus christ
