    Are people saying that raping a 1 year old should be a more serious crime than raping a 14 year old?

    Should he not get the same sort of punishment as if it was an adult he raped?

    In fact, a 1 year old would probably be less traumatised by it than an 18 year old (long & short-term).

    Is it because he is sick that you think he should be shot or get life in jail?

    Maybe if he is sick (as in mentally ill) then he should get a lesser sentence than a pissed randy bloke date raping a 25 year old? He will probably cause less long-term damage to the victim and he has medical problems that affected his judgment.

    I wonder if people think the punishment should fit how offensive YOU find the crime rather than the actually affect of the crime on the victim or society.

    good point Rob, there are many contrubiting factors that need to be thougt about, which u obviosly have, on the amount of time he gets.
    tbh tho... i think anyone u rapes anyone, shud be bloody looked up, its evil!... and a 1yr old, is just even sicker!
    Rob, what do u think of this?, u seemed to think, more about the issues surrounding this issue than ur thoughts??/
