    i have herd that sunderland will be appointing avram grant as the manager in the next few weeks and i have also herd craig gordon will be on his way in january in a deal to arsenal bringing fabiansky on loan till the end of the season..... Aiden Mcgeady to be a sunderland player at the end of january there will also be a few championship buys such as emile mpenza from plymouth has been on fire this season. emanuel villa as back up.     To be totally honest, i wouldnt have minded Allardyce at Sunderland. I think he wasnt given enough time at the mags and cant be faulted for the job he did at Bolton, and would have been good for handling the likes of Cisse, as had Diouf playing probs the best he has played in England while he was at Bolton.

    We'll wait and see who we get in though...

    I think he'll do alright at Blackburn tbh. He's not that bad, given time and the right team to work with.

    He'll do mint at blackburn, all hes got to do this season is keep them up and finish top 12 next season and go from there and like Geordie said in a previous thread hes going to do better at a small club.

    He wasnt my first choice for sunderland manager but I wouldnt have been gutted if we got him.I can only see us appointing a foreigner now which is always risky but some of the names we're linked with are exciting. I just hope we dont appoint sbragia.I want him to stay at the club but not as full time manager
