Mackem Match Moved Again... Exercising their option to move fixtures up to a month in advance of the original date, Sky Sports have opted to televise the forthcoming Tyne-wear derby. Roy Keane's rabble will now despoil the away dressing room for a 1.30pm kickoff on Sunday April 20th. This late change will doubtless cause problems for ticket holders travelling from out of the area who have already booked train tickets etc. However it's fair to say that this game has become more of a box office attraction due to our continuing poor form - were our players pulling their weight and getting us away from the bottom of the table this wouldn't be shown.... Make there fucking minds up? Ohh well looks like Mon 21st off work again...
Gutted my birthdays the 19th aswell as the calzaghe fight which means I'll be rough as fuck and nobodies mate watching the match, it was supposed to be an early kick off anyway wasnt it so why not just put it on telly on the saturday

Re: Mackem Match Moved Again... Bit of a pain in the arse this really like, would have liked to have been able to watch the Calzaghe fight without having to get up early for the match. Will still stay up for the fight either way though, and then have to get down to Sunderland on the morning to get the coach back to Newcastle for the game. Yet another match with no sleep the night beforehand??
