LuaLua back for Marseille? Bobby Robson has revealed that Newcastle are negotiating with Portsmouth for the return of Lomana LuaLua in time for the semi-final first leg with Marseille. All Bobby would say is that negotiations have reached a stalemate and with just over 24 hours before kick-off time is running out.

The Congo star has been a roaring success during his loan spell at Fratton Park and will stay to help Pompey's fight against relegation despite fears he would be needed back at St James' Park as injury cover. Shepherd was asked about the situation with the likes of Kieron Dyer, Jermaine Jenas, Craig Bellamy and Shola Ameobi al fighting fitness battles. However, he was adamant LuaLua would not be called back to Tyneside when he said: "It is not going to happen."
