Lovegroove Dance Party Euro Mix Anyone else miss this show? Every saturday Danny Rampling playing a quality selection of trance, nu-nrg, acid and techno. Of all the current Radio 1 DJs noone really plays this type of stuff anymore. He stopped doing it towards the end of his radio 1 days - I don't think that its a coincidence his contract didn't get renewed after that

He even used to even play a bit of reggae and d'n'b sometimes. I've got loads of it on cassette copies. It was only around the millenium that he started playing just house

What happened to him? Even though i didnt listen to his show much - I was in no doubt it was quality stuff.... Radio 1 seems to get worse every year - the DJ's during the day have to play a pre-selected playlist... chart trance.... etc etc total shite like.
