I was thinking about it so I could rent blu -rays, since i dont have a blu ray writer and the discs are ridiculous prices at the minute

I do it's fucking fantastic. I got a free 30-day trial at first and I was just gonna quit after that time was up. I pay about £13 per month and for that I can rent as many as I want as often as I want, 2 at a time. This includes games. I've got two wii games atm, and had two 360 games before that. Delivery times are spot on too.

    Highly recommended :)

based on the Lovefilm database but I seem to always get the films I want compared to LF when you used to get the good ones for the first month and then nothing I was arsed about after that.

lovefilm is brilliant - been a member for a couple of years now.

best tip is to just have a really small list of titles i.e. just have one or two films that you really want to see.

Lovefilm is class, I've been using them for years now.

Hunt around the net, I managed to find a code for a 3 month free trial. There's loads for 30 days knocking about but you can get longer trials if you look carefully.

Always spot on though, and like Danny Habit I prefer to keep a shorter list with things I really want (or at least keep a smaller number marked 'high priority') and generally get them straight away.

Comes in really handy for blu-ray as we don't want to spend a fortune.

Lee - the envelopes they come in can be re-folded and sealed to send them back freepost, just stick them in the letterbox as normal.

What Jill said, but if you lose the envelope it came in, you just have to stick it in one of your own and write the address on the front. I tend to use mine for games or TV series (got all the Planet Earth and Blue Planet type stuff too). I have a download limit with my ISP so for stuff like that where you may end up seeding more than you download it's great.

They tell you to try and keep a list of 10 titles that you'd like, so that they always have something to send you. If you only have 2 things in your list and they aren't available, you could end up waiting. I tend to have about 6 - 10 titles at once and usually get stuff that I want based on the priority I've chosen on the site.

Lovefilm is great, we always subscribe in the winter months to keep us in and saving for our holidays.

Disks are always sent our really quickly too which is good.

Don't worry about the envelopes....3 disks easily fit in to one!

I've also just signed up for a free trial with Blockbuster.. they're much slower than lovefilm and don't do games. Seems to take a few days for anything new to arrive whereas lovefilm will often have something back to you within 48 hours of you sending the last disks back.

One thing that pissed me off though.. their customer service seems to be run by foreigners so when I phoned up to cancel my subscription last week (I'm skint atm), the woman told me that unless my disks get back to them before my billing date which was Monday, I may get charged for another month. Since it was Friday I decided to keep it for another month and she gave me a month for free too. Somewhere in the process of that she must have asked me if it was ok to take the money out of my account immediately to which I must have agreed. It wouldn't have mattered had I not been skint until Monday.. so for going overdrawn I got charged about £30. So much for the free month!

Was thinking for the option to rent games aswell becuase my lass has got a Wii and while I dont justify shelling out £30 for a game I wouldnt mind playing on something other than bowling on it when pissed.

Plus some people are good honest folk who dont condone internet piracy and believe it is ruining our film and music industry

Rossy u can also get games for all the decent consoles as well as blu rays. It probably takes longer to download and burn that it does to rent too :p

I don't condone musical piracy because if I don't give money to the right producers they might not keep making the type of music i love.

I agree about the film industry though, hollywood actors don't get enough if you ask me.
