    "love junkie"

No longer available @ air records
sorry to disapoint any one who was after a copy of pete's "love junkie" bootleg @ air records, but we unfourtunatly cannot sell it anymore

we received an pretty strict email direct from toolroom records (the label the original track is signed to) that was sent to just about every single record shop in the county saying legal action would be taken straight away to any outlets stocking / selling the 12"

bit of a bummer for pete being stuck with all those records..... maybe you could melt all the records down and make yourself a big sailing boat to go with your outfit:D

    Re: "love junkie"

is there not a system of checking its legitimacy like?

or "hey pete did you get permission for that ripped bootleg?" :D

a bootleg is a bootleg not a remix and certainly does not give the permission to remix/sell it...

yes its illegal to profit from a bootleg with out the permission of the writer of the track and not to credit the copyright ower of the two original songs.

in this case toolroom records / tom neville wouldnt not have given permission to "bootleg" it as a) they wouldn't recieve any profit of the sales of the 12" and b) because it was released the same week as the official "buzz junkie" and another million reaons why they wouldnt want it on the shelves....

no wonder they got abit of a cob on.

    :D
