Lots of charvers

Is it just me or are there an increasing amount of charvers getting in to Promise now?

I've been most Fridays this year and it seems to be since Jules played. Thankfully I was spared from the night Jules appeared, but am told the place was heaving and predictably loads of stripey jumpered, Rockport wearing twats etc. went.

I always used to think the bouncers did a good job of keeping them out but since Jules and particularly the last two Fridays, there have been loads of charvers at Promise.

I cant be the only one that gets pissed off with them larging it and trying to start rows etc? In my opinion they are starting to de-generate the atmosphere!

i dont have much or of a prob with em... as loong as they dont start any trubble.... i remember damocles and batfink havin a bit of bother with sum in the toilets on friday...

i havent seen ne trouble with them the times i have been..maybe i missed it..but i have found a lot of them are good humoured and can be quite pleasant..there is always gonna be a bunch of charvs that are gonna behave in the wrong way..but i dont think its fair to say all the ppl that 'look' like charvs actually act like them..

I think i have noticed a slight increase lately but nothing much. Anyway they dont seem to cause any bother really, we seem to get reasonably friendly charvas mostly (if theres such a thing). Ive never seen or had any bother in Promise. Though about a month ago some short charv with a stupid tash and a stripey jumper did tell me to "fokkin move dick" simply cos we both moved to the same side when trying to walk past each other on the balcony. Twat!

Anyway i reckon Shindig has a far worse problem with charvs. None of them really wear stripey jumpers cos its definately an older crown. Older charvs have obviously "grown out of" stripey jumpers. They all wear blandly coloured shirts with a minimum of the top 3 buttons undone, and often every button undone. The place was rammed with them last night. I actually felt the atmosphere was quite threatening last night (which i have never felt before in Foundation). This may however been down to my own state of paranoia. The other thing is that they are all elbows and pushing and shoving on the dancefloor.

I think weve got it good in Promise in comparison. I remember saying there was i high number of charvs in on Friday to someone early on. But really i had a great night and none of them bothered anyone at all that i know of.

The charvs don't cause any hassle - One hit me in the face by accident and he said are u alright mate and gave me a tab. I didn't see many charv's anyway - i think ur gettin stripey jumpers mixed up with Cyber gear myself. But remember if there wasn't any charv's there the chances are Promise would only make about half the amount of money they do and would probably close down.

Im sure we have all had this conversation before about the clientelle of the club.

I've only mentioned it as in my opinion there have been problems. There were a fair few of them kicking doors in and stuff and trying to start rows in the toilet at JFK also. Ive now seen more bother in the past two weeks at Promise than the last seven months.

How on earth can you mix luminous cyber gear up with Fred Perry and Henri LLoyd?! I wear cyber tops myself sometimes - I ken what the difference is

Me, Dexta and Laura were walkin down platform at Central Station metro, havin just arrived in town... whilst walkin on the platform, all dressed in cyber :cyber: a charva (from inside the train when dorrs were open) thought hed impress his mates by askin us where we were going...

I replied "Im off to fuck your mum" then the doors closed, but he didnt look too happy, and his mates were pissin themselves
