    Loose change & copper dilemma

Does anyone else have a MOUNTAIN of copper and small loose change cloggin up their bedrooms?

Iv got 2 whiskey bottles and piles lying all over the place!!

Counting the shite would take about 3 days therefore it never gets done!! while it continues to build up and build up!!

What do other ppl do?!! surely you cant tell me you go the bank every month with your little baggies and cash it in!??!?!

I was thinking of giving it to charity or something.....

Stick it in that machine in Savacentre. It counts it for you then gives you notes in exchange for all the copper.

I forgot about that machine in Savacenter! might be a bit busy at this time of year like!

Id guess I have about £200 in copper.... The big whisky bottles hold about £80 if memory serves correct.

What do you guys do with yours? or do u penny pinching students count out your last tupench for another Subway?

Asda have machines where you shove it all in the top and it counts it then gives you a receipt to go get your cash at the che4ckout. It also gives you the chance to donate it all to charty

I just counted all mine out and there was £115 so I opened a bank account for Thomas

the machines at Asda are always fooking full! how do u they charge? i heard it's like 7p in the £ or something....

i've got various tins, jars, boxes, drawers, etc dotted around everywhere with copper in all over.... one day i'll find a quiet time at asda and take it all up...

eeeeeeee remember the old days u'd walk down to your local bank and get a load of money bags and count it all out... there's a gadjet for everything nowadays....

I bank everything less than a quid in a jar after work or a night out & when I am short of cash I ask my dad or ma to count if for me & then I bank it. Last clear out was approx £90

Every time i empty my pockets, i stick anything 20p downwards into this big tub.

Count it up when its full really, which ends up being about once a year. Does take a couple of hours like. But once its done, bag it up and take it down to the bank and exchange for some lovely crisp notes.

Funny you started this thread, cos id actually already decided i was goin to do it this afternoon.

I have a tub of money that I check like every other month or so, count them all out and take it to the bank. It's great having a little bag of 20p's which are worth £20 :D

Money isn't really going up right now though, more like going down. Uni  :(
