You defo need a new amp OR a dedicated multiroom system.

Get a NAD one...... second hand amps are always a good buy - check ebay or small ads for the best deals or richer sounds for a new un.

Most decent spec amps have a option for two sets of speakers and you can toggle which set you are using and it will mute the other unused set........ so you can turn your speakers of in your bedroom if your listening dowstairs..........

Multiroom systems are the ultimate answer but will cost thousands so i wont go into that!

Cheap solution: a PC with 4 sound cards running to active speakers.

    BI WIRE

IF THE SPEAKERS YOU BUY ARE BI WIREABLE (TWO SETS OF CONNECTING POSTS ON BACK) IN THEORY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO "PIGGY BACK" THEM TOGETHER. YOU WILL HAVE TO WATCH IMPENDENCE THOUGH. SO NO MENTAL 200W FLOOR STANDERS!!!
