loading/shutting down time has been recently increasing dramatically. What do I get into to look at what is starting when I start up my pooter? Im pretty sure you need to get into the startup bit of it but could someone give me a quick point in the right direction to change this? I have my firewall, my msn and avg update that i want to start up. and could anything else be causing this excruciating wait?
Re: loading/shutting down time Go to Start -> run -> then type MSconfig. Goto the start up tab and deslect what you don't wanna run. Check the location of the entry before you deselect it.
