    Liverpool...

....should really be winning. Had 2 disallowed goals, both probably right.

Fully deserved the win. Played them off the park for 2/3 of the game and had a perfectly legal goal from S-Pongolle disallowed. Fair play to the keeper for his performance but I doubt they would get even get past the group stages in the European cup if the were a Euro team. Just not Liverpools night.

i thought pongolles goal was just offisde, u can clearly see that it is a fraction offside, if anything it is at most level

how annoying was that stupid jock of a commentator, he doesnt know the offisde rule

How? The attacking player is suuposed to have the advantage if there's doubt or in line.

I thought they played really well, pretty gutted they didn't win tbf. Hopefully knock the confidence a bit for Boxing Day though:)

yes but thats not always how it works, it all depends on the situation really, officials have to use their common sense

he was a fraction offside, but he was still offside

My beloved Liverpool were very unlucky today, Sao Paulo's keeper was class to be fair. Pongole's goal should have been allowed I reckon.

:( Not a very good weekend for football, for me anyway. A very frustrating game to watch, lets hope our far east trip doesn't affect our in form premiership run when it turns boxing day! YNWA
