hmmmmmmmm !! i was thinking "what a mint end up until he jumped off the building" !! it was leading up to a good finish then the extra twist ruined it for me...:argue:
i totally got it. he was blatantly in the future - but didn't like his life, had no feeling for it - it showed his job to be shit - he even said he got into the police force to make a difference - in the end he ended up making desicions behind a desk instead of doing actual police work. so, as the surgeon said, they didn't remove the tumour, which was presumably the thing making him have that 'living dream' so he decided he'd rather be in the coma world, making a difference with people he loved - so he choose to go back to 1973 you've got to believe however that either 1) survived the fall and was in a coma again or 2)it wasn't actually a coma he was in but maybe some other dimension? between heaven/hell? pretty good ending - i enjoyed it
i thought it was alright like, watched this from the start of the first series so i was well into it. would have preffered it if he stayed in 2007 then spiralled into mad depression. so he killed himself at the end so he could go back to 1973 ? would be such a gutter if he ended up in chernobyl or the battle of the somme hahha
its not its a gene hunt spin-off, that lass did fuck all apart from swan around that office with her massive face. hardly deserves a spin-off
