Not sure, but there was a black boxer, back in the age of bare knuckle scrappin, Bill or Bob - summut like that, he started off the first boxing schoolin London after havin loads of scraps - he was givin some kind of honor - a Lord or Sir etc. Considering he origianly was a slave, some acheivement. First black to get such by the estabolishment of the day.
Viv Anderson and Ian Wright have both got MBEs, loads of black people get honours from the queen. Don't think Lennox'll get a knighthood though, just an M/C/OBE imo.
I know lots of black people have gained honours but I cant think of any being knighted. I will have a browse on google
