Got mates who are students down there. I think Steph lives in Halesowen or something like that. Was really nice round there, 20mins from Leeds Town Hall by bus so pretty central too.

Leeds is a brilliant city, night life down there is far better than up here! :)

Stay away from Chapeltown. Headingly is the main student area I think and it's quite near the centre too (I think). It's a pretty nice place in terms of lots going on etc but there does seem to be a lot of homeless people who hassle you fucking loads:mad: Base is there too! And Housewives choice! So two nice hard clubs for you to visit:) :D

if u were wantin cheaper places near to the city that aren't bad then i think ur best option is headingley, it's not too close to be that dodgy an not too far out either...

an there's cheap stoodent bars everywhere!!?

i know the place quite well, i'm from leeds originally so Headingly is tops for drinking and students. Fairly cheap and nice area to live. Better areas are Roundhay, Shadwell, Adel, all North Leeds areas. Kirkstall isn't too bad. Bramley - nope. Any where around the ring road area is only about 10mins on the bus. Try even places like Horsforth, a bit further away but nice. Avoid Chapletown.
