i don't think it is very funny at all, laughing at a football club that could go under, this is the beginning of the football bubble bursting, look at dundee fc, notts county and coleraine fc, all under threat.

it could happen to a club near you...soon, and then will you laugh?, we have to protect all our clubs to protect the game in the uk.

I heard on the radio this morning that Smith is being lined up by a host of clubs including Arsenal, Man Utd, Newcastle & Liverpool.

It would be quite sad if a football club such as Leeds were to go out business. Hopefully it will set an example to other clubs that this can really happen to anyone.

IMO the only real way they are going to get out of this, is if they get some 'Russian', etc to pump millions into the club.

Did anyone read the article about the Seth Johnson tranfer?
When he was going in for talks with them before he signed, him and his agent spoke to each other and said they will try and get 12k a week, as he was only on 4k at Derby.
So they walked into Risdale's office, and before they could even say what they wanted he offered him 32k a week. Jonson was absolutley  , and you could tell on his face.
Peter Risdale thought he was dissapointed with his offer, so he made a final offer of 36k!! Needless to sat Seth J accepted. It is the reason why he didn't leave to go to Boro last season because of his such high wage. Unbelieveable isn't it!
