From releasing the first ever EP on Chain Reaction (Emerge under their Scion moniker), to their own flawless Scion Versions imprint, René Löwe and Peter Kuschnereit remain at the forefront of creating inspiring techno and electronic cuts. Scion Versions is a relatively new label (only a few releases strong but with more to come) releasing series of exclusive dub techno EPs. Their output consists of deep and dubby tracks dominated by heavy reverbs, echoes, layered atmospheric sounds and deep bass lines, including the trademark Basic Channel/Chain Reaction-style arrangement. For fans of dub techno it can't get much better than this. Peter and Rene have had their tracks remixed by several artists on the cutting edge of modern electronic music. Surgeon, Sleeparchive and Shed have all put their hand into reworking classics into new contemparies. Krucht are moving in a new direction in 2009, and are going to be re-locating back to Leeds, and we are proud to be bringing Substance and Vainqueur to this unique and exciting venue. Review of Substance and Vainqueur from Resident Advisor: Nov ‘07 (4.5/5) “Substance and Vainqueur built the excitement to ecstatic levels over the next hour. Enormous beats and great storms of silicone metallic sound washed around the high walls, creating verticality that stretched from the sub bass that pulsed in deep explosions” http://www.residentadvisor.net/review-view.aspx?id=4489 Review of re-release of “Emerge” from Boomkat: “In short, this sound has been imitated a million times and has never been bettered, however many noble attempts there may have been over the years…This is peerless, utterly sick material, and one of the most worthy reissues in techno. KILLER!” http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=93787 www.myspace.com/kruchtflucht www.myspace.com/meandyoumanchester uk.myspace.com/djp45 http://www.residentadvisor.net/event-detail.aspx?id=86850 AFTERPARTY venue to be confirmed, with DJ's from Krucht, Detatched and meandyou.
