layout pads n the like

    layout pads n the like

    i need art stuff for college...duz ne1 know newhere in newcastle that sells arty stuff? or am i gonna hvae to go back to darlo?

    and duz ne1 know the difference between a layout pad and a sketch pad? cos apparelnly i need a layout pad, not a sketch pad, and a layout pad will last me all year and im confused :cry: :spangled: :cry:

    Erhh...Heaton Manor School - theres where I 'found' my karismas, oil pastels, sketch books etc.

    No idea what a layout pad is, but there is an art shop at the bottom of Westgate Road, quite near the station. The only other one I know about is on Percy Street (as Mr Revel said).

    Always used to get my art supplies from Ward graphics, they've got a big retail outlet next to the Fed Brewery in Duston (ie. nxt to metrocentre) Much cheepness for student types too :D
