The beouf is as follows...
Madame Koo's is the basement below what is currently Floritas & Baby Lynch.
The Venue is an awesome old bank vault style catacombe with exposed brick work.
The owners will be installing a state of the art sound system as well lighting etc.
Friday and Saturday, they aim to cater for the general punter, with liberal helpings of cheesy tunes and cheap drinks,

HOWEVER...
We're taking over on Sundays, where we intend use the venue to it's full potential.

Expect a host of quality leftfield disco and house bookings over the summer as well as local guests.

Sundays used to be fucking great a few years back. Hopefully they should be again.

sounds like a class venue like.

Obviously its not finished yet, but when we went in during the beginning of the building work it looked like a micro fabric.
I know a lot is going to change in the place before it opens, but it would be seriously hard to fuck it up.
There's this insane central octagonal chamber that's going to be the dancefloor.
Simply awesome.

Looking forward to seeing The Revenge, they've got some class tunes. Game for Mark E as well to be fair!

Good work on finding the new venue, the town is desperately in need of some new places to hold parties

It's a bit of a mixed blessing that they're sticking to the commercial crowd on weekends, as the position and style of the venue would work for some amazing saturday nights.

However, as we wanted to do a sunday anyway, it means that we'll get exclusive use of a great space for some PROPA parties.

Keep em peeled for the odd 6am finish too!

That rooms really nice, kind of like an upmarket/wider version of Gershwins

it's a canny little space down there like, and anything must be better than the mulleted gaylords that currently play their decade-old subliminal tripe in apartment.

Phil, Allie, the bit you're on about is gonna be the 2nd room.
This is a whole new vault underneath what used to be the newsagents next door.
The old news agents front will form the dedicated entrance.
Dare i say, from what we've seen the new part is twice as good as the existing apartment cellar, plus they're building a designated smoking area into it.

i'm in newquay on 7th june like but i'm game for mark e.

We're just concerning ourselves with filling the new bit for the time being (there's still a further room attached to that which we'll be opening up as a lounge area), although this is all subject to change as time goes by.

Allie, we launch on the 31st, so that's no excuse!
Plus it's a free bar (which should at least insure an appearance from 1 or 2 of the people on this board).

Definitely game for Mark-E August bank holiday.

The Flyer neglects to mention the free bar on the first gig.

It's absolute bribery, but I reckon everyone'll find it justified when they actually see the place.
