i'm off now to go wander around northumberland street lost for a few hours.... then buy perfume from fenwicks as always... *sigh*
aye half day from work so heading thru to metro centre gonna be a nightmare. doin a lot tomorrow too as i've only bought 2 things so far!!
I finished mine last week. I was at the shops before they opened. Even then the queue to the Metrocentre was unreal! Late night shopping was also as bad as a usual busy Saturday. I wont be going back Dont care if Im missing anything
Thank god for the internet. Been out for a few bits and pieces - but no having to brave the crowds like in recent years. Richmond is thankfully a bit less of a scrum than other places ive had to do shopping at over the years.... phew. Still got more to do mind. Luckily we can pretty much come and go as we please at work. 'Ave it
well, i didn't have much to buy, quite a bit i got online in recent weeks - but that was my 1 and only trip around the shops. i had what i wanted in mind, just a case of a well planned route it's chuffin heaving p.s. avoid 1) fenwicks - it's full of biddies 2) lewis's - it's crap
I've got to go back into town again today - my shopping would have been finished, but a book i ordered for my dad off the internet didn't turn up and when i queried it, they told me it's out of stock after they took the money from my bank account weeks ago. Twats. And they're not getting it in again until the new year. And my dad hasn't done any of his xmas shopping, and is now stuck at work over xmas on the oil rig because of the weather, so i've now got to do his today as well!
I finished mine all last week or so i thought.... Found out my older brother is home for xmas with my Nephew so need to find something for them !!
