toshiba are 10 a penny at the moment, go see whats on offer in pc world, they often have offers on that are pretty good.

First off, dont get a laptop unless you really need the portability cuz they are vastly inferiour to a proper pc. anyways if u dont want to play games (and tbf laptops are wank at doing that anyway) then this is a very cheap option : http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/st...1&tm=undefined&sku=951035&category_oid=-27751 upgrade the ram on that to 1gb and get a external hd and you have a very cheap but powerful laptop. alternatively get the hp one already mentioned. oh and i work at pc world
