    Laptop?

my old laptop has a faulty power socket, but i was wondering if there were people/places that might buy it for parts/to fix themselves?

most places i've taken it to say they are gonna charge £60-80 and can't guarantee they'll fix it or even that they won't break it!

i can't send it back to the manufacturer cos they sent me a replacement one when this one broke but didn't ask for this one back...

any ideas? of anywhere that might fix it/buy it?

    Thanks :)

There's a company in Washington i think that we use for laptop repair - they charge £35 to collect and asses the problem - which is pretty good if u ask me! Then u either decide to go ahead with the repairs or get them to return it/you collect it
