    Lack Of Quality Music...

I've just been to town to pick up some new tunes, listened to quite a large pile...and bought nothing. Every single track I listened to (this includes stuff by Sneak, Roland Clarke, Crazy Penis and Phill Weeks) was average at best.
As well as this, I've been searching through online shops such as Juno and EB almost every day for the past week, and still nothing. The only tracks I find myself wanting to buy are old ones that I missed out on.

Anybody else noticed a distinct lack of decent music atm?

Is it not to do with the upcoming Miami Conference. Producers always hold records back to break there - sure there'll be a rush after that leading upto ibiza

    Believe me mate, it aint!

I think Tomas might be right to be honest, it seems this is only the case with House music, which is the predominant form at WMC...

I know a few people that are holding back til after the conference to trop some of their trax too, now it would seem EVERYONE's had the same idea. Bastards :(

Yes - not much decent techno about at the minute. I was going to order some records on Friday but couldn't find anything I fancied...

if people aren't coming up with the goods, why not try and make your own?

thought to be honest, and I think Lister will say the same, there's been some fucking top stuff out recently.

granted I ain't really looked v hard, used to get sent loads but there's just not been much about that I would play out. Plenty techno but I don't get to play it much anyway :(

As for house Ive found the same as Allie, some pretty disappointing stuff. Still good things will come from Miami

u think? normally feel Miami knocks out two killers at best, the rest turns into a race for the big summer no. 1 hit.

www.musichead.de is the best site for techno IMO......far better than only-djs (and cheaper too!). If they haven't got something in stock they will order it in for you. It usually takes a little longer...but worth the wait I reckon!
