Krucht presents Modern Love: Pendle Coven 22.05.09 Friday 22nd May 2009 Krucht presents Modern Love: PENDLE COVEN P45 Daniel Russell Pendle Coven is a collective project overseen by Miles Whittaker (MLZ) and Gary Howell. Originally started in the early 90s after being brought together by the sounds of Autechre and Aphex Twin, the project is dedicated to producing quality underground music of all genres through collaboration and experimentation. The original building blocks for the Coven sound were Miles' vinyl obsession and the musicianship of Gary. Old samples and older instruments are used to convey a modern approach to contemporary electronic music. With a strong resolution Pendle Coven have remained under the radar of mainstream electronic music by scattering their releases and having strict quality control exercised by Modern Love label owner, and 'brother-in-arms' Shlom Sviri.
