KILLTHEDISCO 16th MARCH - JON WOODALL KILL THE DISCO FRI 16th MARCH JON WOODALL ( Back to Basics - Leeds ) If you're stuck for something to do this Friday we reckon you could do much much worse than dragging your arse down the Pacific to welcome rising talent Jon Woodall to the Kill The Disco decks. Originally hailing from Teesside, Jon located to Leeds in 2004 to start a Creative Music and Sound Technology degree. Residencies at Space nightclub quickly followed as well as numerous one off gigs around the Leeds area. A gig in Dusseldorf came about in October 2004, and because of the success of this he was asked to fly back to Germany on New Years Eve to play a 7-hour set there. More recently Jon has become a regular fixture at Tim Sheridan's weekly after-hours sessions Very Very Very Wrong Indeed, and in December 2006 was given the opportunity to knock out some house and techno at the legendary Back2Basics. If you're out this friday expect a varied blend of 4/4 music, ranging from disco to deep house to tech house to techno. See you there!
