KILLTHEDISCO 16th FEB (PHUTURE DJ`S) FRIDAY 16th FEBUARY LEO + JOEL MERRICK (Phuture - Manchester) After dragging one of the finest residents from Geordie Land down the A1 last friday, this week we extend our claws over the pennines to snatch two wicked DJ's from top notch minimal night Phuture in Manchester and welcome them to the Kill The Disco decks. Leo and Joel are co-promoters and residents of Phuture in Manchester, one of the most exciting club nights in the city over the last couple of years. Plying their crowd with stripped down electronic music, since their inception they have brought some really exciting underground talent and upfront artists to Manchester, including Alex Under, Marc Ashken, Jeff Bennet, Trevor Rockcliffe, Will Saul and Audio Werner amongst many others. Recently leaving their home at the Attic, Phuture will be relocating to a wicked new venue early this year, which is being kept under wraps at the moment, but in the meantime they’ve just held a wicked party that brought French acid house sensation Alex Kidd from F-Comm up north to knock seven bells out of Aqua in Manchester. Playing back to back for at least a couple of hours this Friday, expect a selection of minimal, electro, techno and acid house...
