    Khan v Maidana

What an absolute tear up of a fight. None stop action from the off.

Both fighters deserve credit as it was a cracker to watch but as the result shows Khan just about edged it. His chin looks stronger and he could get himself into some big trouble fighting the way he did last night but it was great to watch and will have him becoming a massive name if not just for the excitement value.

As much as he comes across as too cocky and arrogant there's no denying he has talent and has been transformed under Roach. He's great to watch and could go on to become a huge star in boxing.

If you never saw it, find a torrent and download it as it's well worth a watch.

Easily the best boxing I've seen this year. How good was the body shot in the first round. Khans chin held up really well considering Maidanas considered the hardest puncher in the weight. Im not usually one for rematches but I'd love to see those two fight again.

Aye a rematch would be a cracker. Khan got himself into a brawl and i bet Roach was tearing his hair out but he came through it and held up to some massive punches. The best thing about the Body shot was the fact he'd been taking some serious punishment in that first round and came back with that. Maidana didn't know what had hit him.

Saturdays fight was outstanding and both fighters deserve massive credit for fighting on the front foot and making it the fight it was. Maidana is tougher than I thought like, was in stitches in about the 8th round when he stood in the centre of the ring, dropped his hands and more or less said "haway then" to Khan

As much as it a quality fight and was good for Khan to prove people wrong about his chin, he made the fight a lot harder for himself than it had to be by getting involved in Maidana's type of fight. Hes talking about the likes of Floyd being realistic opponents within the next year or to (which they may be if he cleans up the 140 division) though against that level of fighter he would have been punished for taking the chances that he did and veering from the fight plan which was to keep Maidana at distance, lead with the jab and use his speed & skills outbox him.
