    Key & Pitch

    I may seem really thick asking this. I understand the concept of the difference between pitch and key but what is the technical description of key? I understand you can can change pitch without changing key and vice-versa. But when it comes to describing key to someone I aint got a clue. Help plz!

    What about the term for tempo is this any different to what is mentioned?
