Read an article in the Sun about Ketamine and the effects it has on people and horses, but the article mentioned that ket is actually LEGAL at the moment.....now is it just me or is that highly fucked up???i know they said that it was getting classified to class C but WTF?how can they classify Shrooms as class A n have Ket which is a lot more fucked up at class c?anybody whos taken ket or seen people who are on it think this is wrong. or are shrooms worse?

ketamine isn't legal its a controlled substance...

its just not illegal at the mo to be in possession of it altho id imagine if u were caught ud still get a telling off like cos as casy says it is a controlled substance !!

Ketamine is a prescription only medicine. so is legal if u have it with a pescription.

you can be prosecuted for possessing or supplying it and that includes if u caught giving it to friends.

The Law: Ketamine is not controlled by the misuse of Drugs Act 1971 but can only be obtained by prescription. However, you could be prosecuted under the Medicines Act for supplying the drug without a licence. In the US, possession is illegal without a prescription or license.

yeah if you have it when its been prescribed to you (which i doubt anyone will be!!) its not illegal but controlled substance means that its to be used controlled, and by instruction...like anti-depressants, if your caught with these and they aren't prescribed for you your in trouble

I've never had it, so can't comment first hand, but judging from the states I've seen other people in, it is definitely far too lenient.

whats even scarier is how i manged to walk to andys on it, not get sussed even though i woke up and didnt have a fucking clue how i got there... its mega dangerous.........

well drugs are classed by the harm they can cause. i dont think much if any research has gone into the harm and effects of ket yet.

where as magic mushrooms hav shown they can cause mental health problems in some ppl and severe flashbacks.

thats exactly it.how can you end up in more trouble for possessing some mushrooms that grow naturally than a horse tranquilser. the law is seriously fucked up.

aye, thats a good point like. i supose as well a lot of people were takin advantage of the loop hole in the law with shrooms so they probs wanted to set an example.

how to spot someone on ket...

General use indicators characteristic of a person under the influence of Ketamine are as follows:
Perspiring Warm to the touch
Blank stare Speech difficulty
Incomplete verbal responses Repetitive speech
Increased pain threshold Confused/agitated
Hallucinations Possibly violent/combative
Chemical odor Moon walking/large bouncing steps
ive read somewhere that you can sometimes become dependant on ketamine as a way of escaping the outside world.... gonna be an increase of addicts ect... bad crack that like. once its been made class c i think it wont be long til its class A tbh
