Keiro firewall My computer keep going funny and is basically in desperate need of new bits but: It generates errors in windows exe then kinda sorts itself out but after that the fire wall error keeps popping up about every 30 secs saying it cannot connect to service. What's that all about? It's annoying
What version of Windows are you using (eg 98 or XP)? Is it stopping you connecting to the net, or a certain program from connecting to the net? What are you trying to do when the error messages pop-up? What's the full error messages that pop up? Copy and paste and post them, if you post as much info as poss we can possibly help.
God that's a lot to take in. Where do I start: it's windows Xp, Not stopping me from connecting to the net. on now whippee there's one file in my music collection that's funny I think cos everytime I click on that certain one it says that windows is generating errores in exe and the program will close. Seems to be after that when the firewall error comes up saying it cannot connect But can't delete the file cos it fucks up everytime I click on it. Not to worry. I'll just not touch it and will keep you informed if anything else sends my computer doolally (sp.)
:spangled: Sounds canny odd... If you wanna get rid of the file, move all the other files out of the folder where that one is, reboot your pc (guessing a process is crashing and keeping the file in use, hence the reboot), then delete the folder that the file is in.
